Not sure who ventured out but I decided to go up.

Its really the only sale I can drive to apart from nowra and the upcoming wollongong without needing to stay the night.

Sold a large amount of birds which was nice and picked some nice princess parrots.

I pre arranged them before the sale.

One from north and one from south.

The Hen is a lutino (red eyes) split blue and the cock is a blue split yellow.

Nice looking birds and I got them at a very good price.

The hen had some feathers plucked as she was stored in a holding cage with a rosella I was told.

Did anyone else go?

It was a good sale and lots moved but it was very quiet compared to a Cesnock or Singleton sale.

Although a massive sale, Fairfield was pretty quiet compared to previous years.
Here's some pics...

Some nice looking birds there. Particularly like the look of a couple of cages of Nuns. And what is the white (mostly) bird in with the St. Helena's?

Thanks Craig. Different. Have never had Plumbheads, and not seen many either. Maybe that's why i was scratching my head in curiosity.

thanks for the pics sam
looks like a big, open-air style venue.
it seems that prices are low across the board at the moment, longtails $50, diamond firetails $70, a good time to buy!
gotta love a bird sale.
