funny, but fiendish cockbird

One of my male gouldians is really keen to go back to mating (after they tossed out, 4 week old chicks), and he pursues the hen quite vigorously. Anyway, yesterday I watched him doing his jumping dance, and all of a sudden he locks his beak onto the hens neck. She tried to fly away, but his hold was so strong that he had her suspended in the air........then he swung her from side to side a few times before letting go!
