If anyone was wanting to plant but can't because of concrete flooring, have you considered getting hollow logs and using them as pots? Natural looking and will contain the plants and will let you use quite large plants.
Just a suggestion if anyone hasn't already posted about it.

I like the pots so as to rotate once the plants are decimated by the birds, But I guess if you are putting shrubs in it would be great, if you can keep the mice out of them.

Mice will live in pots...when you replace pots with another potted plant mice can be in it....only way to be sure is to sit pot in water for couple of hours before putting into aviary...FinchLover1999 wrote:Mice shouldnt be a problem if the aviary is proofed

I never actually took that into consideration

With my aviary resto, there shouldnt be a problem with mice for a long while.(hopefully)
