Seriously, what Tiaris said.

Nuns would be okay choice too in my opinion as well as what Tiaris and Craig suggested...

Thanks for the advice.
My dimond firetails is on eggs so I have decided to ceep them in their cage about 2, 5×4×2
Then I have changed my plans I rader what to house the 2pair parsons with 2 pairs rfpf in a aviary 1x4, 5x2
Or will that be overcrowding?

I have parsons in 2 open aviaries with mixed finches from orange breasts, strawberries, ruddies, etc up to grenadier weavers and have no problems 1 pair have fledged 4 lots this year and with others -Green singers ,strawberries and Gouldian's all fledging there young at the same time in the same aviary, It all depends on who you get your finches from , people say you cant put crimson finches in a mixed aviary as they will attack anything mainly a red colour bird But I have crimsons in one aviary with full coloured strawberry cock bird with no problem and parsons etc _ I just found someone with the none aggressive strain this goes with all birds, I find the parsons a great bird to watch and listen to they are very active and are nosey but I do not find the disruptive,

Thanks guys. I have decided to house one pair in a open aviary and I am ordering a pair of nuns to be put with the other pair in a smaller cage.

Some people just don;t have the warped sence of humour that I do. :silent: Though it was said in jest, and in seriousness. So it's also good that it was taken as a serious suggestion. Cause Nums are great birds for most avairys, and underrated by many.
