Have not had that experience before,is there any aussie yellow mixed in one of the parents for that to happen,I have a pair of splits,
where the father is split for aussie yellow, tiny white patch under the beak, bread 11 chicks in two nests, has yellow chicks, white feather patches on others
but no blue, the hen when paired to another cock last year produced a blue in every nest. the cock is 100% split
