One thing I learned at the convention was that I need a new short lens. The cheap kit lens just didn't cut it for sharpness or image quality (even Bruce's Nikon probably did better than mine...

), and it REALLY didn't cope well in the dimly lit auditorium!! Ah well... Here are some anyway. I'll write a full report during the week.
