I was just wondering if Red Cheeks would breed/raise young with just mealworms? Or are maggots needed? Cheers.

RC cordons will raise chicks on mealworms but I notice you have bigger clutches raised on maggots.

Termites or maggots would give best results. If mealworms are all you have, I'd feed out the smaller ones.

Mealworms are all i've got at the moment, but I also don't have any RC yet, just thought i'd do my research before hand.....I've been meaning to build a fly box and try and get some maggots, just haven't gotten around to it yet (something to do on the weekend, I guess  )
