Goulian Finch Colour on Head Fading

Hi,
The femaie Goulian Finch I own, has started to go from a pure black head to a bit mottled. Sort of grey, is this old age or is her diet inadequate?
I have 15 other finches (3 of which are Goulians), these are all healthy with no colour changes.
Any advice is most greatful

By any chance is this Gouldian finch female is she young ,if so she has not colour up from last year due to be bred late and that why she could be stuck in a molt ,I would wait and see if molt out to normal condication,also have you got any pics of her what she look like now,so we can give you a opinion.
