Gouldians sit when the last egg of the clutch has been laid as far as I know 7 eggs is a good clutch size as 5 or 6 is normal.I have had a hen lay 9 eggs and the pair raised the lot
This was an exceptioin not the norm.
Have a look at your female, is her beak dark grey/black, if it isn't she most likely is not broody and most likely will not set the clutch. The beak colour change is a hormonal change indicator.
I have had Gouuldians lay when their beaks were still white and the eggs failed to hatch.
If she doesn't set this clutch in week or so take them out and she will lay again and she may then be physically ready to brood.
I normally put my Gouldian boxes in the 1st or 2nd week of January we are now into the 3rd week and the hen birds are just starting to colour in the beak so the boxes will be going in next weekend. They should be laying by the following weekend which would be nornal if their beaks have started to colour.

If this sudden heatwave would get lost I would be sorting mine with a view to nesting too.

Is this a maiden clutch (first time hen?)
If so.. she may not sit simply due to inexperience.
It's sort of a "wait and see" game.
If she's older and not sitting, the first thing I would do is evaluate the situation and find out what I may be doing wrong in terms of providing the proper environment/conditions to make breeding conducive.
But I have also had hens lay 8 egg clutches, so wait a couple days and get back to us
