Hello to all, I'd like some advise if possible. I have a normal RFPFINCH cock paired to a lightly pied seagreen hen. What babies can I expect? Also, if some are normal will they be split for pied? Cheers, Deegs.

Seagreen is sex-linked recessive and pied autosomal dominant. Therefore in terms of seagreen you won't get any visual seagreen but all cocks will be split to seagreen. If we assume the hen to be a single factor pied then expect half the young to be pied. The percent of pied is pretty variable and often a bit of a lottery. Also pieds can get more pied as they age.
