Seed sand sieve

can you buy a seed sieve, I have sand floor and need to sieve out the seed husks, dry poop.so my sand lasts longer. Western Australia, to buy anywhere?

You can sieve out poop from seed with a sieve.Sand and husk maybe hard you could put the sand in a tub of water and the husk will float.Or just scrape of the top of the sand and replace with new sand.In future try to stop as much seed as possible and lesson the workload.

Can be hard keeping the aviary clean, my wife dislikes birds and is very picky, one cage I have put seed in large trays and placed them in a big container, try to contain husks. The other two cages have hanging feeders PUDDENS. The cut seed waste great, but then the husks fall everywhere, more work.and lose sand when clean up, hence sieve would help

I use a fishing device used for one armed nippers with metal fly wire spread across the top,does a great job ,use a dust mask,the sand comes out clean as ,garyh
