Then of course there is John in Epping if you are prepared to pay double the price (but be careful choosing your birds)

The best bet is to keep an eye on gumtree and buy off a local breeder. There are some good people breeding double bars at the moment for around $60pr.

yes I went to birdcity last week. much smaller than their original shop but the people are friendly and offer excellent advice. highly recommended ++ it's on high st, just after wood st as ur heading away from the city, on the left
