Nice birds Trent, i see you have got some plumheads in there too.Pity you guys couldn't air freight some over to Kiwiland(wouldn't be much now as our dollar is just about the same worth as yours LOL) as we are running short of them here, especially hens.Does anyone know why this species breeds more female that males?

Finchbird, me thinks you is confused.
You say there is a shortage of hen plumbheads then ask why they produce more hens?

Hi FB 2015,here in Victoria the trend has mostly been that you breed more cocks than hens,however in the last few months i have bred more hens than cocks,been very cold here of late so maybe the weather has something to do with it,garyh
