just a follow up, I put all my gouldians back in their original aviary 10*2*2.2 by themselves save for a few double bars and a canary. I coopexed twice at the start of the season. I placed them by themselves as when they were this way for years I had no feather lose. Well this late in the season holding them in mixed aviaries for the past 5yrs I would have balding, and touch wood there is none at all. I can only conclude stress from the the other birds must play a bigger part than thought.

Agree, stress does play a major part in this condition but it can also be a genetic condition so keep an eye on them. Craig
