A very interesting read about how these birds come to be.

My daugter did a paper on them for her Genetics distinction. So I knew a bit about the problem. David Bowie the well know singer has 2 different coloured eyes, so he is a more likely candidate. In humans it is more mixed up due to the differences in development with the XY genes compared with the Z of birds and moths wich make it easier. Would be really interesting if this bird is used for breeding to see if/what happens.

All 3 of these birds are cocks so could possibly breed. If you read further on the articles of the person who did the one i put up, she indicates that the right side is usually dominant in birds (like people) so the right side should be most likely to be the father if it worked.
