Hi Kaylene,

I breed gouldians myself - delightful birds!

I ensure access to grit, calcium (cuttlefish), green seed and standard seed during breeding months. I also provide couch seed heads when I can.

It's been a slow start to the breeding season but it's improving now. My best breeders always have a very active cock bird that helps during the whole process!

It's always such a shame to lose a bird - hopefully you have more success in the near future!
