Hi is it normal for gouldians to take a bath or could they be taking a swim for an underlying problem ?

Most of my finches bathe occassionally. So no, not unusual or a problem. Enjoy.

you seem to be perdantic about health related things to your birds...IMO forget about it just enjoy them...sit back and watch them...then you will know how healthy they are... once they settle down to you sitting there and admiring them..(if any are off colour) you will soon see...droopy wings ..fluffed...head under wing when rest are flying around...searching for sunny areas all times of the day....constant eating...wet vent area... ..then if any show these signs seperate and supply heat first and foremost.... then ask your questions on health
