At last I'll be getting a pair of Crimsons in the next few weeks. I've received some very helpful advice from forum members about live food (ie mealworms, termites and maggots), but I was wondering wheather Crimsons are known to also eat fruit fly?

Yes they do boma, the more variety of live food the better your breeding results. An average nest of crimsons is five young and they require a large amount of protein to get them to fledge.
Enjoy them and good luck. Craig
