I notice that some keep Gouldians indoors in breeding cages.
Do they breed OK without sunlight?

You need some form of daylight ..be it natural or man-made...otherwise you may get melanism and lack of vitamin D..

I think that most people who breed indoors have outside avairys for non breeding times. But may be wrong, and they just put the cages in a sunny spot with the window open occassionally, and feed soluable vitamin D.
