This morning it rained really hard. In the afternoon when I went out, I found a baby bird by the side of the road. I will attach a few photos below. It was not screaming for food but just looked shocked. It’s going to be taken to the local vet soon, but an anyone identify which species of bird it is?

And I moved it to a safer location.

Yup it's a Juvenile Pied butcherbird. A Sacred Kingfisher hit our glass door hard this morning and got a giant bruise/lump on its back, yet it has flown onto some nearby scaffolding (we've got 2 renovations/subdivisions surrounding our house) and has been sitting there for he last 30-45 mins. What should I do?

Keep an eye on it, to see that no predators grab it. If still there in about an hour suggest taking it inside and feeding it for a day. Then try releasing it in the morning. Hopefully just stunned. But could also have done some real damage.

It flew away now. I couldn't climb up onto the scaffolding anyways cause it was 6 or so metres high.
