I'm not good at sexing parrot finches - but he looks blokey to me.

Give them some regular leb cucumber, livefood (even just mealies are fine for RFPFs), a couple of knee-high placed nest boxes or other receptacles, nesting grass + feathers & you should see the mating ritual/chase pretty soon in this warm weather.

Yep agree definate pair... mine go off on leb cucumber..bok choy..corn...saltbush..cos lettuce..sprouted seed and green seeding grasses... plus all the normal finch fair...I give them small amounts of soft food and boiled eggs when I can hear young being fed..
