I have a back yard flag pole and would like to have some finch flags to 'fly' on it.

I would also like to be able to use a smaller flag (maybe 70cm x 40cm) on the caravan when camping.

First preference would be Gouldians but any finch would do.

Is anyone aware of a place for purchase?

I have never encountered finches on flags. Your best bet is to make your own. You can buy transfer paper from computer shops and print out your own transfers, then iron them onto a piece of material and sew a hem around the edges. If you want to spend a bit more money, there are people that do embroidery with computerised sewing machines and some of the bigger models can embroider any shape or pattern onto material. They scan in a picture and the sewing machine embroiders the picture onto a piece of material.

Maybe a printer will print an image onto cloth which can be made into a flag??

For the caravan, if you are a bit proficient with the computer, you can design your own and email it to a sign writer/ printer, who will do a sticker for you

Up this way a minimum charge of $66 applies for a job . .

But possibly you may get more than one sticker for that min. charge

You may even be able to get hold of the 'sticker-sheet' blanks and computer print your own . . but that is "beyond my ken" . . Try Professor Google . . or spend a bit of time trawling Ebay. It's amazing what you can find there, and much cheaper than the retailers
