Hi There!

I'm Averil, I bought a pair of diamorphic Canaries about a year ago. The female died shortly after we bought them. Our little male named Maestro is a gorgeous little bird and i thought I'd jump on the forum in hopes of finding him a mate.

Any advice on where to look I'd be most appreciative

Are you keeping them/him in an avairy or a cage? He should be at the breaking into song stage so now is a good time to find him a mate. Post answers to the questions people ask you and you will soon have enough posts up to access the Classifieds and put up your wanted add. While looking at other peoples for sales adds.

Also possibly try finding birrd breeders/pet shops in your area, look on Gumtree or post a wanted ad on Gumtree. Try finding a local bird club, there you will hopefully be able to meet up with someone who sells and breeds canaries. As finchbreeder said, once you post enough posts you will be able to access the classifieds section on here where you can post a wanted ad and browse other ads.

Thanks
Aidan

I have a spare hen, but unfortunately I am in Brisbane's northern suburbs.

Spare hens are always good things to have. I am running a trio, and a group of 2 cocks to 4 hens.
