Hi
My name is Steve Catlin from South Africa and I just could not stay away. I gave the Finches a rest for awhile as it became overwhelming, had too many with 6 aviaries and a whole lot of double breeders. The bug bit again when I saw someones aviary and came into contact with a group of Finch lovers. I currently have 20 young Gouldians, no colour yet, 30 Zebras mixed, 2 pairs Bengalese, 5 Stars, 2 pairs Grass Finches, one pair Blue Faced Parrot Finches arriving with 2 pairs of Cherry Finches on Tuesday. I have ordered a new Aviary with a breeding room also arriving next week. Now the work starts again, trick it not to let it get out of hand.

Welcome to the forum. The trick is to have enough avairys and birds to enjoy, but not enough to feel like work.
