Welcome to the forum. Are you mixing the finches and parrotts? Or are they in seperate avairies?

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

If you can keep Neophemas you can keep finches. Keep them out of cold drafts and rain, feed a varied diet including good dry seed, green grass seeds, mineral grit, cuttle bone. Have lots of nests for them to choose from and provide dry grass for them to line the nest.

Welcome Pab, good to have another South Aussie on the forum. If your Double Bars breed well for you I might have to take the drive down to beautiful Port Elliot to grab some off you some time.
Cheers, Deegs.
