It comes in liquid and powder form. The liquid can be used in sprouted seed mix or their drinking water but i use the powder. Add the powder to a baby powder plastic bottle so it can be sealed after use by simply turning the lid. I dust the top of their sprouted seed or soft food once a week. It's quite strong so a little is better than too much and will stain their droppings yellow orange if too much is used. It does have directions for use for chickens and other animals but cut the dose for finches to less than a quarter of what they say if using the liquid or powder. Finches are tiny compared to other birds so don't overdose.
