Soggy nest boxes

That's what I was thinking 3 weeks ago, we had only gotten 15% of total rainfall for 2018 and 2019 up until this deluge. The wildlife was struggling too, I began seeing many new waterbirds such as Spoonbills in the creek near me, as I would usually see them fly upstream, but that dried up. We live quite close to a bushland reserve (5-10 min drive), and I began seeing a large flock of scarlet honeyeaters in my creek, which used to reside in the bushland upstream but came downstream in search for water. Good to see the creeks flowing now, the highest I've seen in some 6-7 years.

Spent today working in very overcast conditions. But did not rain. Hopefully tomorrow.
