Hi all,
What temperature should I incubate Gouldian eggs at? I have two in my incubator currently, and candelling reveals both are alive. I can still see the chicks moving inside but we're edging towards day 18 now. I keep the temp at 37.5C but I'm wondering if that's too low, hence the longer incubation period than what would normally be expected.

If the eggs are still doing well i wouln't change anything, just remember to increase humidity at the 12-14 day mark. Its going to be extremely hard handrearing from the egg.............

what was the feed from day one?cjc533 wrote: 02 Mar 2021, 19:09 Thanks for the advice, both. I have two that are currently 6 weeks old, hand reared from egg as they were tossed the day they hatched. It was hard work but completely manageable and well worth it.
