Hello everyone! I just joined last night, and I own two zebra finches who are named daisy and tangerine, who are in my avatar. I'm excited to meet you all!

Welcome to the forum. A nice pair of normal gray Zebra finches you have there. They will nest in almost anything you provide them with, and like to eat grass seed then use the stalks for lining their nest.

Thanks for the tip! I give them coconut fiber twine and cotten for nesting material, but they just put it into their nest and throw it out every morning. Any suggestions? I guess I'll just ask this in the breeding finches section.

Don't use cotton thread, cotton wool balls or coconut fibre in bird cages. The fibres can wrap around a bird's legs, feet or toes and cut the blood flow off.
The best nesting material for finches is grass. Get green grass stems and blades of grass 5-18 inches long and put handfuls in the cage. the birds will use the bits to make their nest.
