When do strawberries change

Hi, I’m in nsw Sydney and just wondering when my cock strawberry will change out of his eclipse plumage ? He was brilliant red when I bought him last year and he has a hen with him.so what months are they in breeding colour usually ? Some sites say spring some say cooler months so can someone please tell me what is correct

Yes their season is so stuffed up now. My last pairs bred any time of the year so long as it's not to hot and cocks will breed out of colour, half coloured and full coloured if given the right conditions. Sorry l can't be of much help.

thanks craig. i kinda expected him to start changing now,ive heard him singing but no colour coming through.the seasons are not consistant thats for sure cant blame them for being confused
