Hi there. We recently had our first 3m x 2.4m finch aviary built and installed. The aluminium framed aviary was purchased through Barry Trewin at Munruben in SEQ. What a great job he did! Thank you Barry! Our mixed range of finches were purchased from Peter Salisbury down in the beautiful Tallebudgera Valley in the Gold Coast Hinterland. The birds are well settled in are we are enjoying them every day. Thank you for your knowledge and professionalism Peter! See you again soon!
Regards.

Hi Shane. At this stage we only have 1 pair each of Gouldians, Black Throats, Star Finches, Green Parrot Finches and the Tricolour Parrot Finches, plus the customary King Quail! (2 males). We also have a female Courdon Blue, a male Red Firetail and a female Orange Breasted. We are picking up partners for them plus a pair of Green Singing finches next week.

Hi Jim and Kym,
Welcome to the forum! Sounds like a great aviary and some great birds, I've seen some of Barry Trewin's aviaries and they're really good.
Just one suggestion, if you're breeding your birds, maybe remove one of the Parrotfinch species as the two species hybridise easily (which is highly frowned upon).
Other than that, enjoy your birds!
Thanks,
Aidan

Well that avairy is full. So it is time to build the 2nd avairy as there is no room for any young ones.
