Are they in an avairy where they can get plenty of exercise, or in a cage with less opportunity for exercise?

Sounds like they need more greens and less fatty seed. Note I am not advocating reducing their seed, just changing the type. Milletts are generally less fattening than canary seed and linseed. Others may be able to be more informative re specific seeds.

I agree with Finchbreeder. Perhaps try growing seeds in pots and feeding them the fresh seed heads??

I didn't reduce the amounts of seeds, i actually changed the mixture and make it simple. Now they get only the fat amount which the manufacturer writes on the label (fat 5%). I will monitor them for the next month and see..
