Lack of help.

There seems to be a very big lack of correspondence on here between people that want to buy birds and sellers.This is an ideal platform to move birds on and aquire new birds,but very few people seem to respond to the ads.We all know that some of the birds that people are seeking in the [wanted to buy] category are held by plenty of people on here,but just about nobody replies.Why is this?.Are people private messaging or just not bothered to reply?.I understand that people are very wary about who they deal with,but you don't have to meet at your home to sell.Very frustrating when you look at all the [wanted to buy] ads and you see the lack of response.How do we fix this?.

I think it is a mix.
While a number of my adds could have been invisible for all the response they have solicited.
I have also had PM's that got me what I wanted.

No doubt some people may reply via private message,but what i can gather is that they are few and far between.We should all help each other where we can,especially with the harder to obtain species.

I am finding it hard to get gouldians Ive even been reaching out to pet shops apparently they sell out straight away. This is my first port of call but as mentioned very quiet in the classifieds - I prefer to buy off people from here due to quality and love of keeping birds. Just my experience...

I think there are a couple of very good finch clubs in the Sydney area.If you contact them,i am sure they would help you.

I'd say keep an eye out around October for people selling gouldians on here
