Four days ago I had 3 Gouldians leave the nest. They look healthy and the parents regularly feed them.
Since leaving the nest they have been on the aviary floor in a protected area. During the day they wander around and at dusk they sit together on the floor. They have not yet attempted to fly.
This is the first time I have had young do this.
Any ideas on why this is happening would be appreciated. Have others had the same situation?

Try putting a perch about 30cm off the ground to start the upwards movement.
Have they jumped out a little earlier than usual?
