My Gouldian Has a lump.

Hi Everyone,
so my little freya a gouldian has a lump on the end of her tailbone and i did notice it a while ago but seems bigger and really not sure actually ....is this a gland or fatting lump...cant seem to find any information online...thanks guys.

Nothing to worry about it is a preening /oil gland that is there to help clean their feathers and stay water proof.

What Craig said - does not look enlarged.
Enlarging can occur, but not too often.
Can be removed if necessary, but like all things removed, the reason for it is no longer dealt with naturally, and more intervention can then be needed.
So leave it be unless obvious enlargement occurs, then repost for further advice.
