Hi everyone, my name is Daniel and I used to breed Australian parrots and finches back in the 90’s.
Anyway fast forward 25 years and now I have a son that is really interested in aviculture so I’ve decided to build him an aviary and get him some gouldians.
Thanks for reading. Daniel

Always good to encourage the next generation of birdos.
That's how I got involved - many years ago.
Mother and I still do bird things together, and neither of us is under 60.

Hi Daniel and welcome to the Forum.
Not much has changed in the last 30 years so long as you face your aviary east to north/east direction to get the early morning sun any other direction will see cold westerly winds severely affect your birds but you probably know that being previously breeding birds. Bird deaths weigh heavily on young minds so do as much as you can to prevent it. All the very best.
