can this kill finches? MY new aviery my finches are always flying into it? its the only thing that raccooons cant rip here
also is it safe for rosey bourkes?

just give it a wipe down with a vinegar water mix to remove any extra white galvanized powder. should be ok its probably what we call fly wire (metal variety over here) , shouldn't kill them as long as its clean.....pete p.s racoons hey, we have drop bears just as nasty creatures.big claws and fangs.....

I hate it when your walking through the bush and the little buggers drop from a gum tree right on top of you.
Dito what pete said,The gal wire seems to be more of a proplem for parrots as they use their beak to clim around,getting gal ingested easily.

A fav trick of mine is to shout (when on bushwalks with friends in the snowies) DROP BEAR!!! and throw a small clod of dirt in the air. everyone looks up, and sees an unidentified fast moving something in the air, and takes cover. The one that doesn't gets a clod of earth in his hair....
they're wise to it now. (darn!)
