is it ok to keep the finch in this room for a while till he gets better? hes already imrpoved a lot! Reason why i like the room no cats or dogs can get in to harass the animals

Hmmmm
I think if I were sick the last thing I would want is to be put in a room with a predator, even if it was caged. The stress of being sick and just being able to smell the predator wont help your birds recovery.

Mate if I was in a room with a snake I would be crapping myself and Im hundreds times bigger than a little finch , not to mention I hate snakes.

I'm with Deb and Diane. Particularly the bit about snakes making scaredy cats out of us girls.

well the snake doesnt even show itself there is no way the bird knows the snake even exists it just hides under its log all day and the bird is in a box

its the most humid room in the house and the bird didnt start doing better until i put him in there

i live in a house with roomates and a lot of cats and dogs arent cats a million times worse? My cats chatter and go insane at the site of a bird my roomates ccats do also so having the bird anywhere else might stress it out also considering my cats dont get along with my roomates cats so a fight breaks out sometimes and it would probably scare the living crap out of a bird the other animals are just to bird crazy they would probably figer out a way to get in the birds box sooner or later

even if the snake ever got out of his cage he for sure as hell cant get in the box snakes are not the smartest animals and they dont have claws or hands

Agree that the cats would be a bigger problem than the snake. And if you do not have another room well you don;t. Just know that our local bird and pet supply people always make sure to have walls and stock room between the 2 species. And I kind of figured there was a reason for that.
