It gets easier to figure out where everything is with practice, and we all scratch our heads a fair bit to begin with. But our moderators are a font of information. (now don't complain you've been called worse. :D )

Is it still possible to get double bar finches in Brisbane? When I've asked the pet shops around my area, they said they have not sold them for many years. Would there be a reason for this?
I'm still getting used to using this forum, so I hope I haven't doubled up with this question.

Hey littlefinch you could get in contact with the queensland finch society to ask them.

Hi. Has anyone heard about 'Pectin', which I was told was a powder used to stop mites and beetles in finch nests? Is it safe? Is it needed? Is there a better solution? Thanks
