Feed time at the Zoo

Just finished hand feeding the baby lorikeets. The Purple-crown (half fethered) climbs up on the side of the container while still getting it out of the hot box, the Dilute Scalies (pin-feathered & already bigger than the Purple) try to climb up, the eldest Little (just starting to pin feather & a quarter of the size of the Scalies) just climbs straight over the top of the Scalies next to the Purple-crown, and the smallest little just does laps of the container till it is feed, then does a couple more just for luck.

Takes me back that does. Running between the kitchen and the laundry with the food for the baby cockies dad was feeding, cause mum had just mixed the next batch.
