Can finches eat clover ?

Hope so! feed mine Lucerne and clover they especially love it when it has green seed pods on it.

There is clover seed in some of the better seed mixes.

I saw Rainbow Lorikeets down on the ground eating clover the other day, weather they were eating the flowers, leaves or seed, not sure, but if there eating it in the wild, it cant hurt to try it in the aviary.

Thats what gave me the idea , the (wild) grassies are nibbling on the unopened flowers
