3 clutches or 10 chicks whichever comes first. Some have multiple small clutches and some huge clutches. That's my basic rule of thumb these days. Though I plead guilty to making mistakes earlier in my finch keeping career. Or if you get weak or faulty chicks break them up imediately.

After this next clutch I'm going to separate ' Mum & Dad " and sell or give away most of the youngsters, The young ones are very nice bird's, 2 are pure white, so maybe i'll keep one of them !! :roll:
Or maybe someone wants to swap , anyway some will have to go !!
