Howdy all, slowly but surely will endevour to snap a couple of pics for you guys and gals, have just purchased some Tri col parrot finches (tanimbar)..... Gee what a beautiful royal blue they are, I also keep the Red faced in a seperate enclosure managed 1 cluth of 3 during winter so look forward to the Spring hatchings.
My aviaries are fully enclosed as living coastal in SA the cold winds of the Southern Ocean are quite chilly, all aviaries have blinds that can be raised during the warmer weather for cooler ventilation. with micro misters for the real hot days, I guess in one respect we have the nice cool sea breezes mid afternoon during summer which is a relief for us let alone the birds.
