Hi All

Im Fairly new to Finches and i am looking for some ideas as to what fruit and veg i should be feeding my guys on a daily basis.
i already use mealworms to some success and baby spinach and apple is there anything else that yo would recomend i include.

Also i have been buying all this stuff due to the fact the spinach in my vege patch has been coated in tomato dust to stop the bugs

any advice appreciated

I came accross the following site just the other day, and as I could't possibly say it any better myself, I'll just link you to the Diet article: http://aussiefinchbreeder.com/finch_die ... proach.htm

Hey Deb I don't know about you but the stuff in my vegetable garden works out a lot more expensive than the supermarket if you actually do the sums!

Can someone post pics of the milk thistle and dandelion please? I have seen something that looks like a milk thistle down the side of a house in my area and Im thinking of taking some of it and trying to grow it on. Just want to be sure Im not wasting my time trying to grow something that the birds wont eat. I have already seen some seeding grasses and whipped the seeds off them and trying to grow them.
