I have just been given a lot of Hardwood 70*35's and I am considerin. Building a suspended cage what size would you recommend for a pair of kakarikis

Kaks are not normally wood chewers , a suspended aviary is perfect for a pair of Kaks and make sure you put in lots of branches or toys to keep then from getting bored .
They also love to dig in dirt so a tray of soil will keep them happy and they love to take lots of baths .
Go for as big as you can with the aviary Id say minimum of 2 metres wide and 1 1/2 deep at least .
Good luck with then they are gawjus little characters.
Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.
