Removing nest

When the chicks have come out of the nest, how long would you leave it to remove the nest from the aviary?? i have Zebras

I'd not remove the nest either until you see them starting again, or otherwise about 1.5 weeks :)

cheers thanx, yeah that is what im trying to prevent them going again. This clutch they had is 6 and dont want them to tire out to much after such a good effort with this lot, each chick is looking fantastic.

Leave it in for a week or 2, as the young sometimes go back in and if you take them out more than not find them dead on the floor. i found 2 today as i have pulled boxes out but have 5 other pairs wanting to use the box. Just keep pulling any eggs out if you find any.

If it is warm enough you can take the nests away as soon as they fledge.
