Quail chicks hatched :)

Our quails have just hatched their 2nd clutch - 8 chicks out of 10 eggs. 7 normals and one silver. So cute! I forgot how tiny they are!!!! :soppy:

They are - I keep going outside to have a peek! tempted to pick them up but might give them a few hours to settle in. And incidentally it is 9 chicks out of 10. She has done really well. :) :angel:

My quail hatched out today too, seven eggs, seven babies all normals, see how they go over the next few days.
They always hatch out on a cold wet miserable day :urgh:

Well done to you too BB :whoohoo: Hope your chicks continue to grow well. Ours are alternating between hiding under mum or dad, and roaming around. Parents being very protective, picked up a chick yesterday, and mum called out and flapped into me. This morning dad was trying to look very menacing while i was putting the food dish down :lol:
