I hope you are not too bothered if the Lorikeets rip them to bits... I would not expect Cubans to be able to stand up to anything as big and aggro as that.
agree with madhatter. some small lorikeets (littles, purple crowns, anything up to musk size) can be put with finches in a LARGE PLANTED AVIARY
certainly not rainbows in a cage.
The finches are fine my poor old pensioner rainbow wouldn't harm anything,( rescued an old breeding pair from terrible cage and conditions to a wonderful retirement home call them joe & joey ) don't like keeping birds in a box unless its necessary and i have nowhere else for the cubans,I have a buyer for the hen and i all ready have 2 in the holding cage, they were aggressive to any bird they didn't like and i have many birds in my other cages that are in the nest that i don't want stressed, my mistake and won't make it again, beautiful bird, active, great song and will try and get a hen for one of the cock birds i bred and try again, I like active birds as i have set up my aviaries for my viewing pleasure and if i breed birds its a bonus, value others experience and still learning.
Thanks Anthony
