Would Grenadier Weavers fight with Red Faced Pytilias? I've heard that neither like other species with red...
Not planning for right now (apart from MAYBE the pytilias, Graham Bull has 'em cheap!), but at some stage would like to have grenadiers and also red Faces.
and also red faced parrot finches, though that's unlikely I prefer tri coloureds
Reddies...

Grenadier Weavers as far as my experience over alot of years, do not fight with anything, they will spar with other Grenadier Cockbird but won't even fight them. I have a colony in with a colony of Blue Faced P/Finches and both breed freely.

E orix,
How big is the smallest aviary you have bred them in?
Mine will have to be 3 x 2.5, smaller than I hoped, but I still want to breed them. I've also heard that introducing a spare male to a pair that is not breeding will make them want to breed, from competition. This true?
