Sadly they are the most difficult of all PF to keep in captivity. They do not take easily to a hard seed diet and require special little figs instead.

Mmm wonder if they would take to eating the Cape wild fig. I could get tons as nothing really eats them other than bats and the trees drip fruit. That is of course if I could ever afford the Finches that would eat them! Beautiful birds.

Speaking of figs does anyone know if any finches eat Morton Bay figs? Always on the lookout for treats that I can access locally.
